What should I check when product images are described as illustrative?

Check that selecting another option changes the relevant description too. Do not treat an illustrative label as an explanation of every discrepancy.

What should I do if I am waiting for a seller's response?

Check filtered messages or the purchase channel's notification area for a reply. Check whether the matter has a deadline that needs to be clearly stated in your message.

What should I check when reading a translated product listing?

Check whether a negative statement or exclusion remains clear. Be careful when a product-specific name is translated into a generic term.
